Lighting the fire on a Detroit Ghettotech theme, the debut release on Global Fire was the Incendiary EP by DJ Guy, released on November 5th, 2007 (Fireworks Night in the UK). The EP features 4 tracks that were previously only available on digital format (on the Non Stop DJs‘ Rock The Nation release on Databass Online), along with an all-new track, Bucked Up. Demand for the 4 previously digital-only tracks to be made available on wax was high, with The Runner first having been aired on Goon & Koyote’s classic 2005 Diamond Grills mix CD and subsequently on the first ever Serato-commissioned DJ mix, Serato Presents: DJ Godfather – For The Freaks.

Bucked Up is available from all good digital outlets listed under the Incendiary EP by DJ Guy. The other 4 tracks are also available from all the same places but as they were previously digitally released on the Rock The Nation release by Non Stop DJs on Databass Online, so you’ll find them listed under that instead of under the Global Fire release.

‘Great for getting your titties out to and shaking your F.U.P.A.’ – Lektrogirl (Rephlex)
Tracks
Bucked Up: an all-new booty version of Young Buck’s “Get Buck”, the remix keeps the outrageously thuggy bassline and vocals from the original, and adds some cracking booty drums.
Who Wanna: starts like a DJ tool with shades of Steve Poindexter’s “Work That Mutha Fucker”, and turns into a full on Ghettotech track with vocals to match and a big old growly bassline that builds throughout.
The Raw: a thumpy dancefloor workout that starts dumb, and gets dumberer when the wonky synth comes in.
The Runner: heavy on the melody, beatboxy beats, sweepy organ, phasey strings, cheeky bassline, and previously heard being used to great effect on Goon & Koyote’s classic “Diamond Grills” mix CD, plus Detroit’s DJ Godfather’s Serato Presents: DJ Godfather – For The Freaks, the first ever Serato-commissioned DJ mix.
Big Pussy: stupid funky bassline, warp bass, electroy sounds, and vocals about a big cat. With big titties.
